We are looking for a dynamic and passionate communications professional to join Rogers Corporate Communications team as Senior Manager, Communications.

Reporting to the Senior Director, RCI Communications, you will be responsible for managing external and internal communications programs that support Rogers corporate functions including office of the CEO, finance, and commercial services.

You have expertise in proactive storytelling, message development, news releases, statements script and speech writing. You are experienced in working with media and key stakeholders and have played a key role in managing issues.

You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, and able to operate in a complex matrix organization with a sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

• Build trusted, collaborative relationships with team members and key internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage files in support of corporate functions including office of the including plan development, writing communications materials, media relations and stakeholder events as required.
• Support and manage issues for corporate functions.
• Build and manage media relationships and identify opportunities to drive positive coverage across all channels.
• Execute leader communications to support leaders of corporate functions and engage their teams through managing townhalls and forums, developing messaging, memos, presentations, video and digital content.
• Proactive storytelling to help tell the company narrative.

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
• Results-driven, creative and collaborative team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• 7+ years’ experience working in Corporate communications
• Ability to build trusted relationships with team members and leaders across large organizations
• Strong project management and organization skills with a fine attention for the details
• Exposure and experience to support senior leaders in a communications role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (PPT, Teams, Yammer, OneDrive) and other communications tools
