To learn more visit www.clevelandclinic.ca.*GENERAL SUMMARY:*This role will be responsible for communications initiatives for the department, both internally and externally. The role will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing & Strategy, ensuring all communications are aligned with the goals of the department and the clinic. This position will also work closely with members of the leadership team and clinical team to research, write and distribute communications as needed.*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*_Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent editing skills* Experience with managing social media and advertising to advance communications objectives* Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills* Ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team* Mature judgment and positive attitude* Ability to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines with a positive attitude* Ability to work in a complex environment that has a wide range of objectives, issues, stakeholders and operational factors* A responsible team member who is diplomatic, outgoing, has a strong work ethic and the ability to provide outstanding customer service_Required Length and Type of Experience_* Undergraduate degree* Post-graduate certificate in communications and/or marketing desirable* An interest in living a healthy, active lifestyle is valued*PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*Write/edit/update communications and marketing collateral, including brochures, posters, website, speaking remarks, clinic announcements and other writing for internal and external publications as they arise.Manage the writing, editing, design and distribution of both the staff newsletter and the community e-newsletters (sports and wellness), including creation and upkeep of editorial calendars, research and fact checking of stories and approvals.. Lead content development and user growth for the clinic’s website and social media programs: Create daily content for our Twitter page to keep the clinic in the news using trending hashtags and relevant health information. Create daily health content for our LinkedIn page to profile how we support corporate CanadaManage the content and metrics for clevelandclinic.caHelp to communicate our patient experience using testimonials through our channels such as our website, partnership content and marketing materials.Develop relationships with colleagues across the clinic to understand the clinic’s priorities and operations, identify communication needs and share information*Breakdown of responsibilities:*Content creation 50%Interviewing /Editing: 20%Website 20%Administrative/Analytics: 10%Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 15 monthsBenefits:* Dental care* Extended health care* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to FridayWork Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5J 2T3
