Primary Responsibilities


Campaign Management


  • Manage Visa.ca content and paid search optimizations
  • Develop and execute the She’s Next Grant Programs, including application and winner amplification phases through social, digital and potential in-person events.
  • Partner with the Canadian, NA and Global Marketing teams, as well as Communications, Product, Research, and Client-facing teams
  • Develop the marketing strategy for the She’s Next Grant Program and Small Business initiatives in Canada
  • Manage agency partners to execute integrated marketing programs and communications, with a focus on digital and social
  • Collaborate with clients and other external partners to find amplification opportunities for the She’s Next Grant winners.
  • Seek and test new media opportunities for relevant consumer audiences, with the goal of creating relevant and engaging content.
  • Own budget management and forecasting on monthly basis, and report on monthly and quarterly variances


Marketing Strategy


  • Support the Director, Marketing Strategy on agency partnerships, social media presence and campaign tracking
  • Provide agency partners with a quarterly update on full team campaign performance, using monthly campaign tracking reports
  • Manage Visa Canada’s organic social media calendar, collaborating with team members to source content, and with agency partners to develop, post, and monitor content
  • Communicate team accomplishments to NA Marketing on a weekly basis


Please note this is a contract position until June 2024, with opportunity to extend.


This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications


  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications


  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders to deliver accurate and on-time project deliverables.
  • Knowledge of social and digital media, search and website management
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with cross functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Fluent in French is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated analytical rigor applied to a wide variety of marketing problems.
  • Experience developing marketing strategies, working with creative agencies to develop assets, collaborating with media agencies to create and optimize media plans, and executing campaigns.
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing consulting or agency experience with track record of delivering measurable business results.
  • Excellent project management skills, and experience managing budget forecasts with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on translating insights, product information and data into recommended actions.
