Senior Accountant (Contract) Jobs

Description

This is a 6 months contract. Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to help with day to day accounting. Responsibilities include:

• Enter monthly journal entries as needed, maintain prepaid schedules, prepare monthly financial statements and financial analysis. Process year-end accounting functions, provide reports and analysis to Management.
• Enter A/P invoices in QuickBooks and process monthly general ledger journal entries.
• Assist with A/R data entry
• Accounts Payable: Code and enter all vendor invoices, submit for approval and pay accordingly. Record all manual checks. Maintain petty cash.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, provide financial analysis and answer any questions as required.

Requirements

• Good communication skills, attention to details
• Full cycle accounting experience
• Experience on QuickBooks
• Strong excel skills
• Degree in Business/Accounting, Accounting designation an asset
• 5+ years experience in a core accounting role
