We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our amazing team at the North York office. We want someone who is enthusiastic about the role and can manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close-out procedures, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

· Managing finances with QuickBooks Online and Desktop

· Recording, and posting transactions for accounts payable

· Maintaining various bank account records and reconciling bank accounts

· Maintaining various credit card account records and reconciling accounts

· Maintaining and updating the Chart of Accounts

· Performing a reconciliation of all vendors to ensure accuracy

· Providing clerical and administrative support as requested

· Using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Intuit Q

· Providing Account Payable Assistance

Qualifications:

· A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

· Minimum 1 year of accounting experience

· Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productivity tools

· Ability to learn quickly and utilize industry-specific accounting tools

· Highly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of accounts

· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to multitask across different types of projects
