About Maple
- Utilize accounting software and financial systems to perform tasks efficiently. Help maintain and update financial databases and records.
- Support the team in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and preparing financial reports. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Help process invoices, verify transaction details, and record payments. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any payment-related issues.
- Assist the team with ad hoc requests, reports, and special projects as assigned.
- Prepare and post journal entries for routine financial transactions. Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Assist with tax-related tasks, such as preparing tax returns, ensuring timely filing, and researching tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.
- Participate in external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new concepts and skills.
