Our esteemed client, a prominent firm specializing in real estate and property management, is actively seeking a highly motivated Corporate Accountant to join their team in a full-time permanent capacity. The successful candidate will play a key role in the organization, reporting directly to the Director, and will be responsible for aiding in the preparation and examination of both external financial reports and internal management reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients.
Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for customers, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products or services according to customer needs.
•Act as a customer advocate within the company, effectively communicating customer feedback, needs, and concerns to relevant stakeholders.
•Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer usage and business goals, and work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
•Conduct regular business reviews with customers to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with their strategic objectives.
•Provide training and support to customers, ensuring they maximize the value and functionality of our products or services.
•Monitor customer health metrics, identify early warning signs of churn, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate customer risks.
•Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to provide strategic guidance and insights to customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous related Corporate Accounting experience, preferably within a public company or within Commercial real estate
• Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA) or working towards is required.
• Thorough knowledge and experience with International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in interpreting financial
results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across all
levels within and outside the organization.
