What is the Opportunity?

This is a great opportunity to join RBC's Global Cybersecurity Team (GCS)! We're seeking a Cyber Reporting & Communications Specialist to join our Vulnerability Management team within GCS to lead the development, implementation and support of business analytics initiatives and projects. Bring your Communications experience, seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to achieve our goals to deliver

Designs, develops, produces and consults on a variety of internal communications materials and media. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.

What will you be doing?

• Consulting to managers on translating messages using the power of words, images, sounds and animation.
• Coaching and supporting team members involved in any communication events or presentations.
• Develop, monitoring and communicating key performance metrics and operational challenges through the use of effective communication methods
• Identifying, sizing and prioritizing business and operational opportunities for improvement through analytics.
• Managing internal client relations to ensure that expectations for dashboards are managed, and fulfilled.
• Creation of communication strategies through effective storytelling to a wide audience
• Conducting final review and approval before communications are released.
• Advising organization on all aspects of communication formats to ensure clarity and accuracy of message.

What will you need to succeed?

Must haves:

• Self Starter and passionate to own the communications function for the team
• Excellent communication skills, able to proofread, draft and document processes, results and ideas
• Post Secondary Education in Communications, Marketing or related fields, Technical background not required, but would be an asset!
• Proven experience managing communication campaigns and initiatives, ideally with highly technical subject matter and able to engage non-technical audiences
• Tech savvy and a passion for cybersecurity

Nice to haves:

• Talented with graphic design and multimedia for technical illustration
• Working experience with Jira, Confluence and other knowledge management tools
• Experience with Data Analytics and Reporting tools: Tableau, PowerBI
• Experience with visualization and diagramming tools such as LucidChart, Visio
