Senior Reporting Specialist Jobs

The Opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking senior reporting specialist to join our established and growing team in Canada.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting the program reporting lead to produce program reporting deliverables, reporting content and analysis.
• Coordinating the input and production of monthly program reports.
• Developing reporting dashboards using power bi; making use of various visual types.
• Working with the program controls reporting team and program teams to produce reporting deliverables to time and quality.
• Performing project controls surveillances on individual projects to ensure adherence to requirements.
• Working with database and reporting specialists to ensure quality and efficiency of program reporting.
• Serving as the program controls reporting interface with program planners, commercial and program management personnel.
• Notifying staff and stakeholders of reporting requirements and timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensuring that project information is distilled into meaningful information for reporting and presentation.
• Facilitating and supporting the monthly internal management and programming review meetings.
• Ensuring quality in all key reports to ensure a consistent and high standard of project and program reporting.
• Analyzing project data and provide detailed cost and schedule variance analysis information.
• Coordinating with teams and stakeholders to produce and analyze monthly program reports.

About You

You have experience in production of high-quality reporting documents, in manipulating departmental output into meaningful, useful and attractive reports for internal and external customers. You have experience and proven track record in project controls. You have experience in program/project controls. You have thorough knowledge of project controls functions, specifically in the areas of baseline development, performance management and scheduling.

You must be fluent in the use of computer software Microsoft Power BI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Macros skills, data warehousing and coding is desirable. You have knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft SharePoint, SQL, Primavera P6 scheduling, Earned Value software is desired. You have good leadership and behavioral qualities. Technical writing and graphic design experience is desired.

You are well organized and proactive with excellent oral and written communication skills. You have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with peers, senior managers and external stakeholders. You have proven ability to effectively co-ordinate activities within and across large organizations.

You must be a cautious and prudent guardian of confidential information. You have maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems without delay. You are able to meet deadlines. You have ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.

You have a degree or equivalent in engineering or a related discipline preferred. You are registered on and are working towards professional qualifications (e.g. APM, PMI).

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated construction teams.
