About Our Client
A well established company in the Retail space is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst

• Write and/or review memos on complex accounting issues
• Assist in the coordination of annual audit activities and other reporting requirements with the external auditors
• Preparation of annual consolidated financial statements and monthly reporting packages
• Provide advice and guidance on all technical accounting matters including research of IFRS standards
• Execution of financial close process, including month end consolidated journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, and statement of cash flows

The Successful Applicant

• CPA with at least 5 years of experience with heavy exposure to IFRS including technical accounting and reporting requirements (strong understanding of IFRS 16 is preferred)
• Keep well-informed of current and proposed accounting standards/practices and assess the impact of accounting changes on financial statements, procedures and internal controls
• Public Accountign Candidates are preferred
