Job Summary


Equinix is seeking a Senior Customer Communications Specialist to join our Global Customer Communication team. You will collaborate with creative and passionate people in an agile work environment, while helping bridge the technical and business worlds for our customers. To do this successfully, it’s essential that you can break down complex concepts into simple solutions.


As a Senior Customer Communications Specialist, You Will


  • Be part of a broader team influencing and engaging with our customer communities
  • Join a team of talented, dynamic and customer-centric communications experts
  • Report to the Director of Customer Communications
  • Deliver communications programs that directly affect our customers’ experiences and success
  • Connect strategically across the business, including customer experience, global communications, product innovation and sales teams


Qualifications


  • Strong writing and editing expertise with a keen eye for brand style and tone
  • Team player who thrives in an agile and inclusive work environment
  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience in communications or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Demonstrate an ability to think strategically, critically and creatively
  • Ability to influence others and collaborate across different groups internally to achieve results
  • Aptitude for execution, prioritizing projects and deliverables with the biggest positive impact on our customers and business
  • Desire to learn about communications platforms and trends, as well as emerging opportunities that enhance the customer experience
  • Ability to work in our Frisco, TX or Toronto office 1-2 days per week
  • Passionate about delivering customer-centric, easy-to-understand communications that drive brand loyalty, reputation and growth
  • “Can-do” proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow
