Job Description

You’ll focus on designing communication strategies that aid in implementing new policies and programmes and that will enhance the organisation’s relations with the community, public, government, shareholders, and employees. Our Communications team combines expertise including corporate and issues communications, internal communications, change management, media relations, public affairs, digital and social communications and analytics. Meaningful work you’ll be part of


As a Senior Manager, Communications you’ll act as an experienced corporate communications professional who has a strong background in planning, developing, and executing communications strategies and plans to successfully deliver tactical communications including but not limited to:


  • Edit with an eye for detail and understand business and technical content and what's in it for the intended audience
  • Ensure that communications follow brand guidelines and major grammar principles
  • Support on a variety of executive/leadership communications
  • Write and produce high quality communications which may include internal news items, digital screens, videos, speeches or internal campaigns.
  • Provide strategic leadership and input into regular firmwide national webinars for both staff and partners calls and town halls
  • Measure and report on the impact of communication strategy, channel effectiveness and tactics
  • Work with dedicated internal stakeholders to build relationships, understand their needs, assess in the context of all firm communications and advise on the best ways to achieve their objectives
  • Support on crisis and sensitive communications by creating ad hoc communications plans and drafting messages as required
  • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that support PwC’s strategy and priorities
  • Assist with external profiles to help position leaders on issues aligned to firm strategy
  • Contribute to and help manage the firm’s corporate communications channels (e.g. internal news, digital signage, intranet)
  • Support and enable the firm’s communications cascade model to support PwC’s strategy, business plans and priorities


Experience And Skills You’ll Use To Solve


  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with a deep understanding of nuances in language and tone
  • Demonstrated success working with senior leadership, developing relationships, addressing their needs and providing communications counsel
  • Excellent written, organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills
  • Digital marketing technology softwares such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Proven understanding of corporate communications and how it supports business strategy
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
  • Strong business acumen, the ability to assess business impact and prioritize demands based on business needs
  • Bilingualism (French) is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • Willingness to help colleagues and work as a team for the best outcomes
  • Experience or ability to work effectively in a matrix and relationship-driven organization
  • Proven ability to understand the needs and sensitivities of different audiences and adapt writing style and content
  • Intellectual curiosity and deep understanding of key economic and business trends
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to translate complex topics into straightforward, accessible language
