About Plannin


Plannin is a platform for creators to help them monetize their travel content & recommendations through a lifetime commission structure. We enable creators to link any travel-related content across social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube) to a unique Plannin profile where their audience can book worldwide accommodations at a discounted rate. Each creator profile will showcase this embedded travel-related content on Plannin to increase social views and exposure, while also providing a powerful recommendation engine for users.


Plannin was co-founded by two industry veterans with deep expertise in the travel space as they sold their last company to Priceline and then built one of the largest travel partner programs in the World. We’re backed by some incredible investors and will be launching our product in Q4 of this year.


About the Role


As a Copywriter, Communications, and Digital Content Creator Writer at Plannin, you will play a pivotal role in our full-service, in-house digital marketing and communications team. You will be responsible for creating captivating written content for a range of platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, advertisements, press releases, emails, and internal communication documents. With your exceptional writing skills and ability to shape compelling narratives, you will contribute to driving online conversions and engagement, further enhancing Plannin's brand presence.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Create informative and engaging email communications for marketing campaigns and internal purposes.
  • Craft engaging written content for websites, including webpages, product descriptions, and blog posts.
  • Write persuasive press releases that capture attention and generate media coverage.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to content strategy discussions and brainstorming sessions.
  • Conduct in-depth research to gather information and insights on relevant topics.
  • Develop captivating ad copy and social media posts to effectively communicate Plannin's brand message.
  • Leverage your creativity to produce visually appealing and engaging digital content.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across all communications.


Experience & Skills You'll Bring to the Team


  • A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using relevant tools and software for content creation and editing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in crafting engaging content for websites, social media, blogs, press releases, and emails.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter, communications specialist, or digital content creator.
  • A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex ideas concisely.
  • Proficiency in adapting writing styles and tones to suit different platforms and purposes.
  • Excellent command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong storytelling ability and the capacity to shape narratives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles and practices.
