Freelance Content Creator - Paid Social

We are seeking skilled and creative Freelance Content Creators to join our team to create UGC video ads for paid social. In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging and impactful video content that drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and conversions across various social media platforms.

Note: This is not a full time position. You will be paid per video. Rates vary.

Responsibilities:

1. Conceptualize and develop video ad content. Collaborate with the creative performance team to understand campaign objectives and target audience. Generate on-trend ideas and concepts for video ads that align with the product and brand’s messaging and objectives.
2. Work with the creative performance team to develop script that effectively communicates brand message and captures attention of the target audience. Ensure the story and content flow seamlessly.
3. Video production: Take ownership of the video production process from start to finish. Ensure videos are of high quality and adhere to brand’s guidelines as well as Acquire’s paid social best practices.

Requirements:

1. Content reel that showcases video created for social media campaigns, or an equivalent portfolio of user generated content.
2. Proficient in video production tools such as Adobe, Final Cut, or similar tools.
3. Comfortable on screen: Speak confidently to the camera and project excitement, humour and information in a compelling manner.
4. Attention to detail: Strong eye for detail to ensure high-quality video production, including voice over and other elements. Ability to receive construction feedback on revisions.
5. Strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling and ability to think creatively to translate ideas into compelling video content.
6. Smartphone with high quality video capabilities. Lighting and external mics a plus.
