Role Definition
The Technical Support Analyst role will work closely with the Programming Development Software team to ensure all, and any testing activities and analyses will meet business and client requirements resulting in solving our client’s application/s challenges.
Primary responsibilities include testing, analyzing, collecting, documenting, current client applications and reporting critical input deficiencies through the testing phase to the Programming Development Team.
The incumbent will gain insights across many different applications, technologies andClient business applications while gaining exposure to current software technologies.
Core Responsibilities

• Develop code to automate the execution of testing tasks
• Conceive and develop ways to continually improve and modernize UI and UX
• Conduct all application testing types as needed, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods
• Document test results of tests for the software development team
• Participate in software design decisions against product and software requirements
• Design and prepare mock-ups of applications and web site
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Review and analyze system specifications
• Work with teammates in the migration of older applications to current technologies
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Report on web design and development trends, and research and evaluate innovative technologies
• Work as part of the Software team on activities associated with the web development and testing
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Report bugs and errors to development team
• Design, develop, code and test software systems, or applications for software improvements and new products
• Prepare web site page interface (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ensure that testing activities will allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
• Create and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)
• Ability to learn new technologies

• Minimum 1-3 year of work experience in software or web development
• Basic to Intermediate PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP)
• Basic JavaScript
• Basic Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Cloud preferably AWS
• Intermediate Laravel or similar Model View Controller (MVC) framework
• Intermediate Docker

Education/Special Training

• Software engineering related field or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
