HCL Software is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to manage and build our SDR team while driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have real-world knowledge of business-to-business sales best practices, a “player/coach” management style, and excellent communication skills. Guiding all these efforts will be a metrics-driven approach to continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing leadership team on areas of improvement
- Partner with other sales team leaders, as well as marketing to develop and optimize lead qualification and scoring criteria, allowing us to prioritize outreach and more accurately forecast the value of our pipeline.
- Recruit, Train and Manage existing team of Inbound and Outbound SDRs in the US and Canada
- Provide recurring coaching on prospecting through 1:1s, call reviews, email coaching, and other training sessions with SDRs
- Drive team adoption of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools like Linked in Navigator and Zoom Info/Engage to effectively track SDR activity metrics, campaign effectiveness, and prospect core business issues.
- Individually contribute to SDR pipeline goals while managing and building out your team and processes.
- Own top of funnel pipeline generation
- Optimize team performance by training around business development best practices and tuning sales processes and goals.
- Report on SDR team activity and results
- Help marketing to test and iterate on messaging, as well as a mix of outbound sales channels, including but not limited to cold calling, text, email, social media outreach, and research-driven account-based marketing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, services, and industry trends, including competitor offerings and partnership ecosystems to effectively train your team and better offer insights from the field to product and marketing.
What You’ll Bring:
- Excellent in sales skills
- Bachelor's Degree, Master's always a plus!
- 5+ years of customer care or Contact Center, with experience in a B2B environment (software sales experience a plus)
- Advanced online relationship building skills and experience with sales tools
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools such as ZoomInfo/Engage, Linked-In Navigator
- Experienced Organizational Skills
- Flexibility in scheduling, due to different time zones and locations
- Expert Decision Making
- Expert in inbound and outbound Customer Service Orientation
- Excellent English language written and verbal expression
- Expert Multi-Tasking / Time Management
- Passion for digital techniques and technologies.
- Focus on the Process Sales flow and sales techniques
- Enthusiasm and positive attitude: passion for helping customers succeed is required
- A problem-solving mindset
- Experienced Team Management- minimum 2 years
- 2+ years of experience managing a business or sales development team
- Skilled Analytical Thinking
Language:
- Required languages: Proficiency in English (written and oral)
