Development Administrator
Cedar City Developments Ltd. is a Toronto-based real estate company involved in the development and management of commercial and residential properties in the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
We are looking for an enthusiastic full-time Development Administrator to join our team to assist in the areas of development management, asset management and financing coordination. Primary responsibilities will include:
Development Management
·Working with the Development Management Team in an administrative role and assisting with municipal development approvals including Site Plans, Zoning By-Law Amendments and Building Permits;
·Co-ordinating of reports and files related to Master Plan Communities and Development Landowner Groups
·Ongoing asset management of development lands;
·Gathering, collecting and analyzing market data information related to specific projects
·Liaison with Construction Manager, external consultants, and internal teams;
·Other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Asset Management
·Co-ordinating of reports and files for all project-related documents
·Working with new and existing tenants at income producing properties
·coordinating and verifying trade and consultant billing
·Coordinating Insurance requirements for properties and ongoing projects
·Preparing internal reports that summarize portfolio status
·Preparing external reports for stakeholders and financial partners
·Assisting with due diligence analysis and coordination activities and providing feedback on acquisitions
Financing Coordination
·Tracking and maintaining records of financial milestones, schedules and deadlines
·Assist with banking related tasks
Requirements
·Post-secondary education in Planning, Commerce, or related field;
·At least 2 years experience in some type of administrative roles in a professional environment;
·Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication – will be responsible to take minutes during meetings;
·Excellent problem-solving skills
·Ability to work well in a high pace environment while being responsible for different files and projects
·Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint;
·Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders at all levels of management;
·Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, detail oriented
·Some accounting/bookkeeping skills are a bonus
