The Director of Corporate Development will have broad and comprehensive knowledge of matters related to the business with a focus on identifying new corporate development opportunities and executing and aligning the business against the growth plan – assessing and quantifying strategies with impact and risk.

The role will have a mandate of executing strategic growth plans as well as building processes to support business growth through the expansion of market share and customer relationships. They will facilitate this growth by working together with internal stakeholders as well as external business partners. Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective business partners at all levels.

The position will consume market and industry research and lead detailed financial analysis/modeling and execution plans for growth. Responsible for the identification of potential new opportunities and risks, bringing insights on product gaps versus competition and customer needs. Generate new business opportunities, developing long-term relationships and networks. Entrepreneurial in nature, driving growth and leadership in our growing team.

The role will scope and provide practical and executable plans for growth and will be a senior and trusted point of contact for customers.

Highly focused on the profitability of the Company and the Company's Strategic Objectives. Responsible to execute the Growth Strategy that aligns with the business unit’s plans and objectives.

Leading the negotiations, deal structuring, diligence, and integration management of all growth activities. Responsible for the achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets and leveraging existing relationships within required markets.

The trusted partner: fostering and cultivating business relationships and building processes that allow partnerships to thrive and grow; supporting opportunities that require partner involvement; strengthening existing relationships and collaborations. Overseeing the governance of the partnership, resolving conflicts, and building relationships with customers.

Responsible for rolling out the implementation and administration of the new contract agreements/arrangements and ensuring collaboration with all relevant areas within the organization. Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among business and product partners while also developing strategies to increase revenue and drive down operational costs.

We are looking for an earnest relationship executive to initiate and nurture steady, mutually beneficial relationships with our clients. As a relationship executive, you should maintain contact with clients, work to understand their needs, and then advise them on which of our offerings could best support their objectives. You should also make use of software to document your progress, which ought to be accessible to pertinent internal divisions.

To be successful as a relationship executive, you should ensure alignment between our organization's objectives and each client's needs. Ultimately, an indispensable relationship executive will take ownership of their work, including their role in promoting clients' interests.

Relationship Executive Responsibilities:

· Meeting with potential clients to gauge the utility and viability of prospective working relationships.

· Ensuring regular contact with existing clients to maintain our company's presence.

· Repairing disengaged or fractured relationships.

· Conducting in-depth needs assessments to better understand each client's requirements.

· Identifying a range of our offerings that could meet the goals and values of each client.

· Proposing and deliberating potential solutions in consultation with clients.

· Prompt clients to upgrade their existing packages and purchase additional offerings.

· Settling clients' concerns in a swift and professional manner.

· Harnessing internal relationships to better address clients' needs and maximize our profits

What the Candidate will bring:

· MBA, bachelor’s degree in business administration. 7+ years’ experience in business development with a "best-in-class" organization; in high-performance sales or marketing in industries such as; Automotive & Digital

· Successful track record of building robust partnerships and customer relationships through networking and consultative solution selling

· Experience leading complex contract negotiations; In-depth knowledge and experience contributing to all deal types ranging from re-contracting, licensing, and complex partnerships. Experience in acquisitions and divestitures is also important.

· Track record of closing deals with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goal strategies for new markets.

· Expert Level Knowledge of Digital Marketing - familiar with industry trends and advances.

· Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence key stakeholders. Trusted, able to win over difficult stakeholders, and known for getting work done.

· Strategic and analytical thinker who can develop an executable business strategy to develop a compelling vision and strategy for success.

· Entrepreneurial orientation; keen ability to recognize the value and see new opportunities

· Experience working in start-ups and hypergrowth; agile environments.
