A little about the role?
Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, this remote role covers the regions of Western Canada and Quebec. It's 50% farmer/50% hunter. You’ll execute against sales targets by taking total ownership and accountability of the pipeline, leads, and sales targets related to growth from an existing customer base and demand generation from new prospects.

- Bilingual (verbal & written proficiency) – French & English.

- Adaptable and comfortable working in an ever-changing environment.
- Familiar with or have experience in the academic and/or EdTech industries - this is plus but not a requirement.
- Tech savvy and have expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and, collaboration tools including: Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- A Canadian citizen.
- A passionate relationship builder and connector that’s committed to customer satisfaction.
- Able to work flexible hours to cover Quebec and Western Regions.
- An action initiator that knows how to gain commitment and produce results.
- A strategic and critical thinker able to identify customer and prospect requirements and offer the best solution.
- A consistent performer with a proven track record in B2B account management and sales, with 3+ years experience, ideally in technology, software and/or services.
- An effective planner and multitasker with strong organizational skills.
- A skilled presenter that knows how to engage an audience with a knack for effectively articulating what matters and makes a difference to them.
Compensation:
OTE – 1st year – approx. $60K-70K, 2nd $75-80K+
