Major Accounts Manager Jobs

We are looking to fill a permanent position of Major accounts manager at our Ville Saint-Laurent office.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the demand planning process for major accounts. He/she will establish a monthly demand forecast by product/warehouse based on sales history, information gathered from major accounts, and include impacts from Marketing/Sales business plans. The incumbent will also be responsible for analyzing the feasibility of various supply chain projects.

More specifically, your main tasks will be:

• Apply procurement policies and procedures.
• Revise forecasts according to information received from major accounts.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with all company employees and stakeholders.
• Understand the reasons affecting performance indicators and work on implementing corrective actions.
• Develop demand plans for new product launches.
• Translate the needs of major accounts into our ERP system.
• Develop the analysis and management tools needed to monitor the various projects.
• Execute corrective actions to update sales forecasts and resolve discrepancies between actual sales and forecasts.
• Be a key player in the S&OP process.
• Participate in projects to improve the demand planning process.
• Maintain and optimize sales forecast parameters.
• Set up and maintain performance indicators.
• Lead monthly meetings with the major accounts for which he is responsible.
• Exercise positive leadership in managing change, achieving objectives, and respecting the company's vision and values.
• Carry out any other job-related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Work in collaboration with major accounts, product managers and supply planners.
• Understand market and customer consumption trends for the product category it manages in order to develop its demand expertise.

Requirements:

• Have worked in a similar logistics model.
• Experience in the retail sector
• Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken
• Any combination of training and experience relevant to the job will be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in administration (operations and logistics management) or industrial engineering
• Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
• Experience with inventory and warehouse management software (ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS)
• Excellent knowledge and experience with data management software (Access)

• Experience in leading or participating in S&OP meetings.
