Job Description
Position: Accounts receivable clerk
Permanent opportunity
Location: Ville Saint-Laurent (in office)
Salary: Up to 50k
Our client, a high end printing company is looking to add an accounts receivable clerk to their accounting team! Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and experience with basic account receivables tasks such as client follow ups, follow ups on aging reports, applying credit notes and more!

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the accounts receivable cycle, tasks include:
  • Follow up on past due accounts with customers (age of accounts);
  • Follow-up on credit notes to be issued to the customer's account;
  • Compile and balance monthly deposits in an Excel file;
  • Communicate with customers (overdue accounts) to establish a specific collection agreement;
  • ProCess charges/returns on customer credit cards;
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by the immediate superior.
  • Prepare and send registered letters for overdue accounts, and follow up;
  • Cash application on credit card payments, cheques and direct deposits in the computer system;
  • Analyze accounts
Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good excel skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable
  • DEP, AEC, DEC in accounting
  • Must speak French with a functional english
