Title: Receivable clerk-cash application
Salary: 48-52 000
Location: Lachine (now 100% remote work)
Schedule: 37.5 hours/ week
All benefits paid on day 1
Permanent position for a receivable clerk in a Large enterprise on the west island. Ideal for someone with 2 to 5 years experience with receivable or more, Senior and Junior candidates are welcome

Responsibilities

• Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Preparing daily deposit sheets and monthly activity reports. Printing and distributing them in a timely manner.
• Preparation of Invoices / Reports
• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing,posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
• Filing, scanning and photocopying documents (cheques, invoices, etc.) for archival purposes
• Balancing the daily cash application journal with the payment batches received and with the daily deposits in the bank.
• Appling customer payments (cheques, cash, credit card, wire transfers) to the appropriate customer accounts in the accounting system.
• Maintaining customer and vendor master file accounts information
• Customer / Vendor Creation and Maintenance
• Mailing of invoices.
• Creating new customers and vendors in accounting system

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English and French).
• Education: High school diploma required, AEC in Accounting considered an asset
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Work Experience: 6 months to 5 years with receivable
