Account Payable Specialist (International Vendors)

As the accounts payable specialist for the Finance Department, you will contribute to Laura’s success. You will be responsible of verifies, codes, and processes Account payable accurately and in a timely manner.
How will you support the team?

• Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies if needed.
• Prioritizes payments with terms and conditions for immediate payment.
• Matches and verifies invoices with receiving memos and Purchase Orders.
• Prepares and processes payments, and Executes month-end reports.
• Deals with outside parties looking for their payments.
• Ensures A/P is closed on a timely manner for month and year-end reports.
• Enters invoices in financial systems.
• Creates Maintain AP Aging report, and different Excel Spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in both French and English.
• DEC in Accounting with 5 year working experience in account payable.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial systems
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
