Compensation and Benefits: $45,000 -$55,000 yearly

This position is only open to residents of Canada who have legal work authorization.

Evlv’s client is a well-known Fashion & Apparel company in North America. They are looking for a smart, proactive and resourceful “Accounts Payable Specialist” to join their accounting team. In this position, you will have great growth and learning potential.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the full accounting cycle
• College Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• 1+ year of experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience in the Apparel & Fashion industry is an asset
• Fluent in English, Bilingualism (French) is an asset (speaking and writing)

The responsibilities will include:

• Issuing Letters of Credit
• Managing all accounts payable functions
• Providing supporting documentation for audits

Preparing:

• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Monthly credit card reports
• Banking electronic (wire) transfers and payments
• Monthly intercompany transfers and invoices
• Monthly GST/QST
