Accounts Payable Coordinator Jobs

Our client is a successful fuel and convenience company in Ontario that strives to serve their communities and build long lasting relationships.

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an accounts payable coordinator to join their finance team. This individual will be responsible for general accounts payable duties and assisting with fuel payable processes. This is a hybrid position and the accounts payable coordinator will be reporting directly to the manager.

What you will achieve in this role:

• Responsible for processing invoices
• Responsible for assisting in the month-end process.
• Initiate new vendors in the accounting software.
• Communicating and responding to vendor inquiries.
• Process and distribute the monthly vendor statements.
• Ensuring all invoices and expenses are entered and uploaded into accounting software.
• Inspect and review any discrepancies or missing documentation in order to make sure invoices are paid on time.

What you must bring to this role:

• 2+ years of experience in an accounts payable role
• Ability to pay attention to details and be accurate
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Accounting diploma or degree
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Being a team playing, supporting other team members and being a mentor when required
