Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, International Admissions (Mtl), the incumbent is the contact person and one of the first points of contact between LaSalle College and its potential students. His/her role is to guide and advise prospective students in the process of their selection and enrolment in one of our study programs.


Location: Lasalle College - Montreal or Laval Campus


Status: Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week)


Responsibilities


Consulting


  • Inform potential students by telephone, e-mail or in person about the programs offered at LaSalle College;
  • Follow-up with students to facilitate their enrolment;
  • Act as an advisor to candidates wishing to enroll in one of our programs of study;
  • Meet student recruitment targets;
  • Enter and maintain information and data collected in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.


Admissions process


  • Analyze the academic background, diplomas and experience submitted with applicants' admission applications;
  • In collaboration with program managers, ensure complete evaluation of candidate files according to admission criteria, program requirements and quotas;
  • Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze specific candidate files and, if necessary, submit them to the verification department for decision;


Promotional events


  • Any other related tasks.
  • Promote our institutions and programs at student recruitment events;
  • Act as advisor during school visits, open houses, career fairs, virtual workshops, etc;


Qualifications Required


  • Oral bilingualism required (other languages an asset);
  • Experience working with CRM software (asset).
  • College diploma (DEC);
  • Excellent organizational, administrative and planning skills (essential);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Experience in education (asset);
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills;
  • At least one year's experience in sales consulting;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team;
