Job Description

Admissions Consultant

Admissions Consultant (MD/DO) - Occasional, Remote

Application Deadline: May 14th @ 11:59 PM EST

**This opportunity is for individuals residing in the US or Canada only**

Overview:

At BeMo, we believe everyone deserves access to higher education. We're an EdTech company that helps students navigate the maze of higher education admissions to become world-class professionals. The Admissions Consultant (Occasional) will join our team to lend their medical expertise to the development of programs, content, and other projects that will assist students on their medical school and residency journeys. This is a project-based role with absolute flexibility that can easily fit into even the busiest of physician’s schedules.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and share your ideas with our outstanding team of leading medical professionals
  • On an occasional basis, you’ll be asked if you can contribute to exciting projects that may include: Content creation, updating, and editing; program development, and product development in areas related to your expertise and experience
  • Enjoy the fulfilling reward of helping others achieve their goals
  • Work from anywhere, and set your own hours

Requirements:

  • We ask successful applicants not to work for other test prep companies
  • Must have completed, or be in the process of completing, your MD or DO training in the United States or Canada
  • Ability to work independently and participate in self-directed learning
  • Must be tech savvy
  • Must be located in the United States or Canada
  • Must be an MD or DO Resident, Fellow, or a practicing or non-practicing MD or DO to apply for this position

Traits of Successful Applicants:

  • Managerial attitude taking full responsibility for assigned roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Must have access to high speed and reliable Internet with minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to act independently with very little supervision and have a great work ethic
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized

Our Hiring Process:

We are highly selective about those who join the team - about 5X more selective than Harvard - but we don't agree with, nor use the same selection process. In fact, we're revolutionizing university admissions processes. For example, we don't care much about your grades or standardized test scores. We care that you can do the job and you have the right attitude. We believe "actions speak louder than words."

Our hiring process includes a review of your application, a skills assessment test, a virtual interview and lastly, a face-to-face interview with select members of our team via video conference, followed finally by reference calls.

How to Apply:

Simple. Click "Apply" and fill out the short application form.

Please quote job #22513 in the application form.

We won’t be able to individually respond to all applicants, but if we feel that you’re a strong match, we will be in touch via email to proceed with your application. Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you!
