Job Description

Reporting to the Admissions Office, the incumbent is the contact person and one of the first points of contact between LaSalle College and its prospective students. His/her role is to guide and advise prospective students in the process of their selection and enrolment in one of our study programs.


Location: Lasalle College, Montréal or Laval Campus


Status: Permanent, full-time (39 hours/week)


Work Schedule


  • Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Thursday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm


Salary: $19.00 + Bonus program


What Is Expected Of You


Your role as a counselor:


  • Follow-up with students to facilitate their registration;
  • Act as an advisor during school visits, open houses, career fairs, virtual workshops, etc;
  • Act as an advisor to applicants who wish to enroll in one of our academic programs;
  • Achieve student recruitment goals;
  • Promote and become ambassadors for our programs to our students.
  • Inform potential students by phone, email or in person about the programs offered at LaSalle College;
  • Enter and maintain information and data collected in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.


Your Administrative Role


  • Analyze the academic background, diplomas and experiences presented in addition to the candidates' applications for admission;
  • Analyze the specific files of certain candidates and, if necessary, submit them to the verification service for a decision;
  • Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure, in collaboration with the program managers, the complete evaluation of the candidates' files according to the admission bases, requirements and quotas of the programs;


Your Experience & Training
  • Minimum of one year of experience in sales consulting;
  • Experience in the field of education (asset);
  • College diploma (DEC);
  • Bilingualism required;
  • Having worked with CRM software (asset).
