- Perform product discovery work to identify, determine business cases, and advocate for opportunities to improve the content team’s tooling in order to drive operational efficiency and cost savings. Then work with design and development to define solutions and make them a reality.
- Develop and implement a content operations strategy to ensure the effective and efficient development, continuous improvement, and translation of assessment content for Knowledgehook's product in existing and new markets; having a keen eye for when automation is warranted and when human judgement is necessary.
- Continuously monitor and analyze content usage data to identify opportunities for improvement and to optimize content development processes.
- Develop and implement content quality assurance processes to ensure that content meets a high bar of quality in relation to its pedagogical effectiveness, the student’s experience and regional or cultural expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and customer success, to identify curriculum and localization needs, and ensure that content investments are aligned with company priority, market needs and customer feedback.
- Develop and manage our external Content Advisory Community for the review, auditing and editing of existing and new content by leading professionals.
- Act as a liaison between the Toronto office’s senior leadership and the remote content team.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors to drive the execution and delivery of content development and translation activities.
What you need to succeed
- First-hand experience using Large Language Models (such as ChatGPT) to augment human creativity and streamline workflows.
- Strong analytical skills, with a history of using data-driven insights to optimize content development processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement content operations strategies, including content development, localization, and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with content management systems, project management tools, and data analysis software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- 4+ years of experience in content development, localization, and management, preferably in the EdTech or educational content industry.
- Proven track record of managing and coordinating cross-functional teams and external contractors to deliver successful projects.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources to ensure the timely delivery of projects within scope.
Bonus qualifications:
- Background in education or instructional design, with a solid understanding of pedagogy and learning principles.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly French and Spanish
- Experience in the educational technology or learning management system industry.
