New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to help our client with the implementation of an improved solution that is replacing a single system running at multiple locations. The focus will be on implementing current functionality, as well as, advanced clinical system capabilities across various sites. The project is currently in the build and design phase and requiring additional project management support.

Responsibilities:

• Document decision records
• Participate in the project intake and change assessment process
• Manage all privacy and security artifacts for the downstream systems
• Communicate and inform Portfolio Managers and Managers of Integration Work stream status and progress
• Manage the relationship with downstream system stakeholders
• Manage the Risks/Issues Log
• Provide oversight to interdependent project PMs and ensure there is alignment to project process gates
• Ensure that knowledge articles have been created and submitted to the Service Desk team
• Ensure that downstream systems are prepared to receive changes that are outputs of the integration work stream
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Managers to ensure that solutions are in alignment with established downstream systems standards and approvals are obtained
• Manage escalations as required by downstream PMs
• Ensure that downstream systems are represented in requirements, workflow designs, solution designs and testing activities
• Manage and represent the downstream systems throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to the integration work stream artifacts including and not limited to requirements, workflows, use cases, specification, test plans, test scripts, cutover run book, communication, training and project to operations transition

Requirements:

• Experience working with HL7, FHIR, APIs, etc.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience leading software development teams
• Experience with an Integration Platform such as MS Biztalk
• PMP certification
• Experience navigating change in a clinical environment
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including clinical users, provincial partners, vendors, etc.
• Experience working with Meditech is preferred
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
• Experience working with provincial registries (i.e. EMPI)
• Experience working on large health care integration initiatives/projects
