Job Description
Harris Corrections is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to manage teams implementing our Jail Management Software for public sector clients. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of software product implementation projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, functional consultants, software developers, quality assurance professionals, and stakeholders, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.


This position will report to the Director of Professional Services with Harris Corrections.


What Your Impact Will Be


  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Manage resources effectively, collaborating with resource managers to optimize assignments.
  • Effectively able to manage projects up to 10M
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, defining objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues or risks, and track project status.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
What we are looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field and 3 years + of professional work experience in a software environment, with a strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in Corrections and/or Public Sector is desirable.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such Microsoft Project, MS Office.

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
