Our client is a local electrical contracting organization that installs and maintains electrical equipment in commercial environments. Our client values safety above all else. Their Safety Manual and Policy and Procedures Manual cover a broad range of situations that employees may be exposed to and procedures to bring you home safe.
Job Overview
As a Project Manager, you will take charge of managing and overseeing a diverse range of electrical projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in electrical systems, coupled with your exceptional project management skills, will drive success, efficiency, and excellence in our projects. We are seeking a results-driven and visionary leader who can inspire and guide our clients team to achieve unparalleled project outcomes in commercial and industrial environments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders, fostering transparency and clear communication
  • Safety Compliance: Uphold strict safety standards, conduct regular site inspections, and implement safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness while delivering exceptional value to clients
  • Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of talented electricians, providing direction, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring smooth project execution and timely conflict resolution
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the highest standard of workmanship and compliance with electrical codes and regulations
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope of work, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, in alignment with client objectives
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred but all relevant experience will be considered
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the electrical contracting industry
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
