Project Manager (3950) Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a part-time Project Manager to help our client upgrade their software infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the maintenance and execution of the project plan and guide the project team through the implementation of the project
• Produce regular and ad hoc status reports for project stakeholders
• Conduct post implementation review and lessons learned documentation.
• Work with vendors to manage successful delivery and implementation of project components
• Project planning activities
• Oversee the delivery of the project on a daily basis to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, within scope, and meeting the expected level of quality
• Work with the clinical stakeholders to manage change
• Adhere to PMO project lifecycle processes
• Assume other related duties such as Coordinate core technical infrastructure changes, Coordinate project activities with departments and staff
• Gather upgrade requirements and conduct analysis where applicable
• Manage project risks, issues and change requests
• Facilitate the resolution of problems encountered by team members
• Develop project charter and other project governance deliverables
• This includes providing direction to and managing the work effort of project resources

Requirements:

• Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated clinical stakeholder engagement experience
• Experience implementing medication management systems using Automated dispensing technologies in an acute hospital setting is an asset
• 5+ years of experience in an acute Healthcare environment with a particular focus on IT systems, operational support and managing projects that involve integrated clinical systems
• A PMP certification is preferred
• Strong English language oral and written communication skills
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience and skills to prepare meeting materials and take minutes
