For Example


As an HR Specialist Advisor, you will be asked to Provides advice and guidance to managers on a variety of Labour Relations topics.


  • Collective Agreement, duty to accommodate, disability management, discipline and non-disciplinary actions
  • Researches Case Law, analyses information, reviews for trends, makes written summary and provides recommended actions.
  • Provides advice and guidance to managers on labour Relations issues.
  • Manages an inventory of cases.
  • Provides assistance to managers on the recourse processes.

Minimum : the minimum staffing requirements indicated in this notice of job opportunity are mandatory for all positions to be staffed. The minimum staffing requirements are: education, language, performance level and security status and/or clearance.

SCREENING FOR PREREQUISITES STAGE


Who can apply?


OPTION 1


Employees of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) who occupy a substantive or are an incumbent of an HR/RH-03 or HR/RH-04 position at the Workplace Relations Centre of expertise, Quebec Region AND who meet the minimum education standard for HR/RH - Human Resources.


OPTION 2


Federal Public Service employees in organizations found under Schedules I, IV and V of the Financial Administration Act who occupy a substantive or are an incumbent of a PE-03 position (or another equivalent classification) and who have cumulative work experience of one (1) year within the last three (3) years in Labour relations AND who meet the minimum education standard for HR/RH - Human Resources.


OPTION 3


Employees of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) who have cumulative work experience of one (1) year within the last three (3) years in management at CRA (for example, performing the duties of a MG position) AND who meet the minimum education standard for HR/RH - Human Resources.


OPTION 4


Employees of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) who possess a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in industrial relations, human resources management or in law.


AND eligible veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members who meet the minimum education standard for HR/RH - Human Resources.


AND individuals with preferred status who live or work within the general rule of minimum distance of the position(s) being staffed who meet the minimum education standard for HR/RH - Human Resources.

Please note that this process will be used to staff positions only at the Workplace Relations Centre of expertise of Quebec Region whose offices are located in Montreal TSO. Remote work may be permitted from the Shawinigan NVCC and the Jonquière Tax Center offices if operational requirements permit. As a result, if you are selected for a position from this process we will expect you to relocate to this location.


Qualified members and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces who receive an offer of employment are not entitled to relocation costs from the CRA. They may, however, be entitled to a final relocation from the Department of National Defence.
