Job Description

Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of Position
  • Manage integration process and activities for acquired facility. This will involve harmonization of policies, benefits, and processes as well as leading change management efforts for cultural and organizational alignment
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment including job descriptions, diversity, candidate experience, and employment branding
  • Ensure both the needs of the business and the needs of the people are met while driving Company’s standardized processes into the facility
  • Develop and execute initiatives that promote employee engagement
  • Provide support for key corporate initiatives including engagement survey administration and feedback, corporate HR process teams, and special projects
  • Work on special projects as assigned
  • Analyze HR metrics and create and implement action plans based on those metrics in line with Function and/or business objectives.
  • Lead workstreams on global talent acquisition, talent analytics, and career development initiatives for high growth areas
  • Ensure efficient and accurate payroll, administration processes, and employee data/records.
  • Support performance and merit planning for assigned organization, ensuring all timelines are effectively met and the process is appropriately administered. Ensure all goal setting and reviews are completed on a timely basis.
  • Act as a consultant and advisor to business leaders for Human Resource issues (i.e., career development, staffing, discipline, performance, and talent management)
  • Support Annual Incentive Plan validation for all functions
  • Work closely with leads in functional areas to drive appropriate organizational design based on business needs and cycles
  • Ensure both the needs of the business and the needs of the people are met while driving Company’s standardized processes
  • Lead HR activities for electrification research and design facility as well as support strategic initiatives related to electrification and engineering organizations globally
  • Proactively manage employee issues, including leaves, attendance, ethics points and all other employee-related issues requiring HR involvement. Ensure that performance issues are appropriately documented and monitored
  • Support annual talent review (succession management process) and follow-up to ensure development actions are effective and complete
Education And Experience
  • 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and HR Business Partner roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field required.
  • Ability to work with Senior Leaders on critical people related issues, exerting influence and knowledge to assist with appropriate decision making.
  • Knowledgeable in Quebec employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all functions and levels across the organization
  • Strong emphasis on HR systems reporting; emphasis on SAP, Success Factors
  • Ability to collaborate and with other functions within Human Resources, on development of programs and policies such as career ladders, hiring processes, job title harmonization, development planning, and early career programs.
