Job Summary

McKesson Canada’s Biopharma and Healthcare Provider Solutions (BPS) team is seeking a Digital Marketing Advisor to join the Marketing team in Mississauga. Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, you will be responsible for the digital marketing of products or services in support of the BPS strategy, including management of websites and social channels, SEO/SEM, email marketing and other tactics. You will serve as a trusted marketing advisor for all things digital and help the team to drive profitable growth by effectively telling the story of our purpose, our approach, what we do and the value we deliver with our offerings.

Section A - Responsibilities

• Leveraging content across all digital marketing channels including, web, social, and paid advertising.
• Continually monitoring marketing effectiveness and identifying opportunities across a range of KPIs and developing regular reporting schedules.
• Analyzing program effectiveness and using the data to recommend content enhancements and optimize digital programs.
• Works with cross-functional teams, including Communications, Business Development and others to develop omni-channel plans that drive growth
• Leads the assessment and implementation of marketing technology platforms required for the team to achieve their digital ambitions
• Determining the correct mix of digital channels for both always-on and campaign-specific programs.
• Partnering with stakeholders to deliver creative, data-driven digital plans.
• Researching and evaluating new technology trends and identifying new optimization opportunities.
• Driving website traffic which converts to sales pipeline.
• Supports the development and implementation of strategy and tactics for optimizing and managing our biopharma online channels (websites, social, email, etc.)
• Manage our BPS specific online channels to ensure effective brand story, voice, and development of content specific to online

Section B - Position Requirements

• Healthcare industry experience
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience developing digital marketing plans and executing activities that achieve revenue goals
• Attention to detail, solid organizational skills and proactive project management
• People-savvy collaborator with the confidence to manage stakeholders
• Experience successfully managing projects in a complex, matrix organization
• Marketing automation system experience
• Experience managing online channels and associated tools (websites, CMS platforms, Google Analytics, LinkedIn ads, etc.)
• Typically has 3-5 years of professional digital marketing experience, specializing in management of online channels and in-house development of digital content and campaigns
• Strong writing skills, including experience editing content with an eye towards improving SEO and impact
• Experience with Canva or other design software and proficiency to create some assets for online channels in house

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$82,800 - $138,000
