About us


We are Hypehound an eCommerce startup founded in Ottawa by two former Shopify employees, Denis Zgonjanin and Diana Birsan. Our journey began just a year ago, and we've already made waves with our Shopify partial payments app, Downpay. Now, as we gear up for the fall 2023 semester, we're thrilled to offer you the chance to learn from our experience and explore diverse roles in the tech industry in order to help you make a decision on what you'd love to pursue as a career.


If you're a high school co-op student with a passion for innovation, we invite you to apply!

  • This position is unpaid but we will work with you to provide your high school co-op credits.
  • This role is remote but you are welcome to join our co-working meetups as well.


Responsibilities


You'll be partnering with the co-founder, Diana Birsan, to learn marketing and product management! While this role will focus primarily on digital marketing, we want to give you the option to explore a variety of roles if you're interested.


Other learning opportunities include:

  • Product management
  • Sales and customer relationship management
  • UX Design
  • Front-end development (HTML, CSS, Liquid)
  • Partnership management


This position does not require any previous experience in any of the roles above.
