As Custom Homes Builder in Toronto, we bring a perfect combination of comfort, design, and indulgences to excel as a luxury homes builder in Ontario. We have long list of luxury homes that are designed and constructed in and around Greater Toronto Area, to its credit. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Construction coordinator to add to our growing team
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist the site supervisor with oversight of construction projects
•Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and contents of estimate
•Procure quotations which are cost effective
•Act as liaison with subcontractors, consultants, and the supervising team in expediting the project
•Perform preliminary and detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
•Ensure that the Site Superintendents are supplied with all up to date drawings, schedules, and specifications
•Assist with ordering construction materials
•Answers phones and responds to requests from the tradesand supervisors
•Coordinates City inspections on a daily basis to ensure all inspections are performed
•Orders and keeps track of office supplies for the site office
•Maintains and updates all hard copy and electronic files related to specific site lots including design upgrades, site plans
•Monitor project facilities and site requirements
Qualifications
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work cooperatively with other staff.
- Strong organizational/analytical skills with clear oral and written communication abilities.
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
- Knowledge of estimation software will be added bonus
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
- High level of personal integrity.
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Project, etc).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
