Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the East BIM/VDC Manager.

Accumulate facilities management related information from project stakeholders for incorporation into VDC/BIM model, as required.

Distribute new and revised models as applicable to Change Management documentation.

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture

Completion of Construction Management Certificate Program or equivalent an asset

Construction knowledge and/or related work experience an asset

Microsoft Project or other project management software and AutoCAD is considered an asset.

Support Development Managers throughout the entitlement and approval process.

Coordinate, monitor, and manage multi-disciplined consultants with assistance of Development Managers.

Organize and attend project meetings; manage and track consultant progress.

Manage schedules, lead meetings, and provide clear reporting on overall project progress.

Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and forward planning.

You have 5 years’ experience working with a Quality Management System

Manage QMS and technical documentation and ensure proper retention of records and documents

Experience with creating and editing process documentation

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with external auditors

 Responds to management/client/regulatory requests for certification/compliance documents by email, fax and phone.

 Maintains a high level of understanding of clients’ continually changing Operator Qualification program requirements to assist Managers in providing qualified personnel.

 Maintains an effective Quality Management Program across all regions in Canada.

 Tracks and maintains employee qualifications, certifications and training, including SNT certifications and safety training related courses.

Liaising with technical staff, operations management and client’s representatives to ensure quality in reporting.

Ensuring reporting aligns with quality management initiatives.

Senior level, typically 7+ years of experience.

Provides assistance to the construction field services team with daily tasks and general support.

Experience in project coordination / management

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task

Efficiently manage the Contract Submittals process and reviews Contractor submissions for conformance with the Contract Documents

Assists the Project Manager on clean and renewable energy construction projects

Maintain and manage plans, specifications, cost, and material estimates, subcontract and related reports

Minimum of 1 years of related experience in construction projects; preferably in renewable industry

Regularly evaluates the adequacy (and update if required) of all quality management plans, procedures and other documents pertaining to USRC Project.

Assists the Quality Manager in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating supplier’s performance, interim and final deliverables for adherence to project requirements.    

Competent knowledge of the ISO 9001 requirements.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Post-Secondary education in Engineering, Quality or any other related field. Bachelors in Engineering is preferred.

 Minimum 5 to 7 years of related experience in quality in construction projects.

Manage the construction process and employees in the SP&S area of accountability.

Certificate of project management business/ accounting/construction management/quality and process management or related fields.

Represents the business requirements for the PPC department in working groups for initiatives and/or programs.

3 years of infrastructure project coordination and project development work experience or equivalent.

Intermediate skills in computer applications such as SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)

Previous Utility experience would be an asset for this role

Construction experience would be an asset for this role

Execution of the Quality Management System as outlined in the Construction Quality Plan.

Understand best practices of job set-up and management,

Supports the construction roles in the management and control of subcontractors.

Supervises the correct equipment calibration management activities.

Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering or acceptable combination education and or experience.

Minimum 10-15 years’ experience as a Quality Manager in Civil, transportation, subway and/or LRT sector

3-5 years customer service and administrative skills and/or coordination experience

Above average administrative skills and experience in MS office programs e.g. excel

Manage the storage of reports and documentation

Strong communication skills: verbal and written

Strong organizational and problem solving skills

General Knowledge of the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act and Regulations, and Builder Bulletins

Supporting the construction delivery director related to planning, executing, monitoring, and closing construction team activities.

Assisting with the development of status reports for project and updates.

Logging project progress, technical issues, information requests.

Scheduling meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and track in support of team leads.

Developing and maintaining the project action tracking matrix.

Providing new and ongoing change support (between internal and external stakeholders)

Ability to work with little or no supervision, Human relation skills, above average keyboarding skills, Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Must establish good relations with the management team.

Ensures the validity of all training requirements related to the QMS and maintains the associated records.

Knowledge of regulatory & industry standards (AS9100, AS13100 & NADCAP).

In-depth familiarity with quality assurance systems, practices, and documentation, experience in manufacturing operation, experience in Internal Auditing.

Strong quantitative analysis skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel.

Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.

Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering

Strong organizational/analytical skills with clear oral and written communication abilities.

Knowledge of estimation software will be added bonus

2 to 5 years of experience

•Monitor project facilities and site requirements

Good knowledge of electronic document management

Experience in ISO 9001: 2015 standard requirements and certification

Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (quality manual, procedures, forms, tools)

Strong Electronic Documentation Management expertise

Experience in Health & Safety (an asset) Personal & soft skills:

Drive and coordinate with line Managers quality processes updates based on Lessons Learned and KPIs

Demonstrated time management, scheduling and negotiations skills

Completion of a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and knowledge of Jonas is an asset

Organize and manage day to day project operations and staff during parallel daytime and nighttime shifts as assigned

Previous construction experience is an asset

Experience with MTO projects an asset

Construction industry (Concrete, Steel, Asphalt) knowledge and experience would be considered an asset.

Ability to liaise and form positive relationship with all levels of employees and management.

BSc Engineering in Civil or CET education an asset.

ISO 9001 Quality Control Internal Auditing Certification an asset.

1 year’ experience in infrastructure as a minimum.

Profound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Access, Power Point.
