We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Planning to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the COO, this role will play a critical role in shaping our long-term, multi-year strategy and driving our annual strategic business planning process. The Sr. Manager, Strategy & Business Planning will collaborate with the senior executive team, department heads, and cross-functional teams to develop detailed business plans for existing and emerging business lines. Additionally, this role will work closely with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to ensure our business plans are well-informed by research, market trends, and financial models. The Sr. Manager, Strategy & Business Planning will also have the opportunity to contribute to emerging product and service offerings including the evaluation of potential new products, partnerships and strategic acquisitions.


Responsibilities


  • Partner with PMM team to conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the executive team, and key stakeholders, effectively communicating strategic concepts and initiatives.
  • Lead the development of detailed business plans for emerging business lines, leveraging market research, financial analysis, and competitive intelligence.
  • Support the SLT on the evaluation, strategy and business case development and execution of M&A opportunities as prioritized.
  • Facilitate and drive the multi-year strategic planning process with the executive team to develop, workshop and finalize our long-term, multi-year strategy for Achievers, including product offering, business lines and global/regional growth.
  • Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to develop robust financial models and forecasts.
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments (primarily Finance, Marketing, Product, and Sales) to ensure alignment and integration of business plans with functional strategies.
  • Drive the annual strategic business planning process in partnership with Finance teams, to break down our multi-year plan to build an annual plan that outlines the strategic objectives, KPIs, and action plans to achieve targets.
  • Lead the evaluation, scoping and development of business plans around new opportunities, including new product offerings and strategic partnerships in partnership with Product, Marketing and FP&A teams.


Qualifications


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey strategic concepts and influence a diverse audiences.
  • 5+ years of experience working management consulting.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts and models.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry or related technology sectors is a plus.
  • Proven experience in strategy development, business planning, and market analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field (MBA preferred).
