Our Opportunity


Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Marketing Execution & Communications to join our marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Popeyes Canada team in a role that supports the core business, with an aim to share the best PLK has to offer with Canadians.


The Sr. Analyst, Marketing Execution & Communications will be responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders and external creative and media agencies in the development and execution of fully integrated marketing plans. Candidate should have a deep understanding of marketing tactics and advertising that drives topline sales, traffic, brand love, awareness, consideration, and conversation in a restaurant level.


Bringing a combination of solid project management fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, communication skills, and the ability to collaboratively work cross-functionally on multiple projects at once is critical to this role’s success.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for working with Director on development of creative, evaluating through a strategic lens and providing clear feedback
  • Communicate pricing strategies to franchisees
  • Works with creative agencies to review, provide detailed feedback, and approve assets for local campaigns
  • Manages required day-to-day tasks, including project tracker and timeline management, meeting coordination, legal and key stakeholder approvals, and maintaining centralized asset repository
  • Act as the point of contact for select vendors to resolve issues impacting restaurant owners back of house systems
  • Determine pricing & offers for national print coupon drops and working with external agencies on the creative
  • Manage, protect and champion the brand positioning, voice, identity and promise
  • Has an understanding of the QSR media landscape and levers, and will work closely with creative and media agencies to optimize
  • Support the development of annual marketing plans and budgets against defined acquisition KPIs
  • Drives campaign optimization of in market media to ensure that marketing communications is driving maximum results
  • Craft and edit content for franchisee communication channels (such as franchisee meetings, weekly newsletters, webcasts, etc.)
  • Prepare and communicate to franchisees the point-of-purchase marketing strategy related to the launch of limited time menu offers
  • Supports creative development of marketing communications programs, managing day-to-day execution of tactics across paid and owned channels that includes briefing, clear feedback, approvals, timeline management and budget tracking
  • Partners with the larger marketing team, and cross functional internal teams to understand communication objectives, timelines and creative framework
  • Develop pricing strategy for limited time offers using QSR knowledge, supply chain factors, as well as overall brand strategy


Required Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
  • Demonstrate meticulous follow-through and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • 2-3+ years of progressive brand marketing experience, ideally in QSR, agency or a related field
  • Experience marketing products in an innovative digital space
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple tasks and projects effectively within a defined timeline
  • Must have the ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences to include internal partners, agencies, vendors and internal teams
  • Has strong attention-to-detail, advanced written and verbal communication skills, strong copy-editing and ability to judge creative and articulate constructive feedback to both internal and external partners in service of the creative vision
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
