Sr. Business Analyst Jobs

We are looking for a Business Analyst to provide business and system analysis for a number of departmental capital and operational initiatives, including but not limited to:

1. Application and Data Integration

2. Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Data Collection

3. Asset Management Legacy Systems Renewal

4. Information Asset System for WWD Infrastructure

5. Operational work due to changes/integration with production systems

6. Other projects as assigned

These initiatives will provide integrated digital tools/solutions which can be leveraged by the clients employees and business partners (consultants and contractors). Each initiative may contain multiple phases with each phase building new features as well as completing the backlogged items from previous phases iteratively.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:

• Eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating customer requirements via workshops, site visits, workflow storyboards, and other methods.
• Managing and tracking the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforcing and redefining as necessary.
• Gathering usability requirements, performing usability evaluations and creating UX design of web and mobile applications.
• Communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements – verbally or through written documentation – to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Creating functional and non-functional requirements documents, UI specifications, UI screen design (wireframes and visual design), user stories, etc.
• Coordinating user acceptance testing and transition to production activities.

Experience:

• 12+ years of relevant and recent experience performing business & system analysis and user experience of web-based, mobile-based and SharePoint-based systems, their integrations with other systems, with large technical and business changes.
• 3+ years of recent experience in performing usability evaluations (heuristic review, expert review and usability testing) of web and mobile applications.
• 5+ years of recent experience transforming business requirements into technical specifications for web and mobile based applications.
• 3+ years of recent experience in business & system analysis and user experience design with web, mobile and SharePoint applications.
• 8+ years of relevant and recent experience in UI design (screen flow and task flow), writing functional and non-functional specs and documenting usability requirements for web-based and mobile-based applications.

Skills and Depth:

• Demonstrated recent experience (3 projects or more) in business and systems requirements analysis (functional and non-functional requirements, UI Specifications, UI screen design, user stories, etc.).
