Key Responsibilities
- Completes financial/contractual closeout.
- Oversees and executes concurrent operational activities/sites.
- Oversees and executes concurrent operational activities/sites. Executes tasks requiring deep technical expertise.
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
- Interfaces with senior management and risk management personnel.
- Manages dispute resolution process.
- Enforces contractual and subcontractor requirements.
- Reviews major project risks and provides insights and mitigation proposals.
- Change order forecasting and pricing support.
- Creates project tracking structure including EVM tracking.
- Integrates lessons learned in new project set-up.
- Creates project forecasts while participating in estimating.
- Monitors schedule in real-time.
- Identifies risks in contract T&Cs.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Engineering / Engineering Technologist / Construction Technology Diploma, Degree, or Post-grad Certificate required. Preference for P.Eng (or currently working towards P.Eng).
- 2-3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator/Project Manager or Construction Manager role on a major rail project,
- InEight and SAP experience within a Major Project environment is an asset.
- 2-3 years’ experience working with software related to construction industry (e.g. Primavera Scheduling software, AutoCAD, PowerBI, etc.).
- 2-3 years’ experience with Metrolinx process and procedures is an asset.
- 2-3 years’ experience with large, complex projects and Joint Ventures with multiple interfaces.
• Knowledge of design and construction management aspects of Railway Projects.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills – oral and written.
- Ability to work with others as a team.
- Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
- Sound computer skills – MS Excel / Lotus, MS Word , MS Project, AutoCAD.
Compensation and Benefits

- $82,500 to $100,000 annually

Working Conditions and Environment
- Exposure to construction work site environment in all seasons
- Relocation within Canada may be required. Relocation costs covered by employer

- Project, training and business-related travel may be required.
