Job Description

Our client in the cannabis industry is seeking a Business Planning Specialist - Merchandise to join their team in Toronto, ON for a 8-month contract.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in shaping both internal and external communication plans, delivering crucial messages, project updates, and key decisions
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure adherence to established timelines
  • Develop, maintain, and publish the monthly work back schedule for the PLM process
  • Keep the organization well-informed about potential risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with system data to proactively detect issues and take decisive actions to mitigate their impact
  • Oversee the complete end-to-end monthly Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process workflow, focusing on navigating Lifecycle Management across various Fulfillment Types
  • Monitor the status and completion of tasks and activities
  • Lead a weekly cross-functional team meeting, offering a comprehensive view of progress and project status
  • Spearhead the implementation of standardized operating procedures and policies for the Product Lifecycle Management process


Qualifications and Skills

  • CAPM/PMP designation asset
  • Minimum two years of supporting project/programs or business operations experience\
