The Role:

As an eCommerce Merchandising Specialist, you are responsible for the site content and merchandising on mejuri.com and on our international growth websites. In your day to day, you are committed to enhancing the customer journey and path to purchase by optimizing landing pages and experiences, enhancing internal search and navigation, and reporting on site performance.

The site merchandiser will play a critical role in the success of the eCommerce website by helping grow sales, increasing customer conversions and maximizing profitability. This will be achieved through serving as the subject matter expert on site content and merchandising, and contributing to provide actionable recommendations to continuously evolve the website.

This role will partner closely with cross-functional team members from Digital Product, Merchandising, International, Marketing, Product Supply, Creative and Product Design. Through close collaboration, this individual will use data to inform strategic site initiatives and plans.

What You'll Do:

• Create, manage and deliver data-driven site merchandising strategies to increase overall product discovery by creating customer-centric mobile first merchandising decisions
• Monitor stock movement and consider boosting, burying or removing out of stock inventory
• Collaborate with our SEO agency to help optimize campaign and gifting pages
• Optimize internal search by conducting frequent audits, visual merchandising, rule enhancements and analysis on top search terms
• Stay on top of key trends and new developments in ecommerce merchandising, making actionable recommendations and necessary in-season pivots
• Remain up to date with industry’s best practices
• Develop seasonal campaign briefs and site experience journey maps to support upcoming marketing and brand initiatives
• Plan and maintain a calendar that tracks and actions content updates across the website for different regions
• Responsible for the performance, tracking and reporting of web merchandising initiatives
• Organize and lead stakeholders through site creative feedback and approval processes
• Manage updates to various content-focused aspects of the website, including the homepage, product landing pages, campaign landing pages, notification bar, site navigation and other site elements
• Conduct A/B testing to shape future site experiences and make data driven decisions
• Plan and strategize site initiatives for brand, seasonal and gifting campaigns in close collaboration with cross functional partners

What You Bring To The Team:

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in e-Commerce, retail website merchandising preferred
• Strong knowledge of site analytics tools
• Understanding of retail ecommerce landscape
• Bilingual is an asset
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems
• Proven ability to function well in a collaborative environment
• Experience working with a content management system
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must have a collaborative spirit, keen sense of organization and attention to detail
