What will you work on?


Reporting into the Director, eCommerce Analytics, you will create and manage crucial reporting vehicles for both internal and customer-facing use. This is not just about pulling data; the right person will know how to slice and dice information to find inferences and ways Spin Master can improve visibility of our brands and items on the digital shelf while growing our business at retail.


How will you create impact?
  • Knowledge of CPG or Retail reporting expectations and retailer standards and operational practices
  • Monitor, analyze and report on effectiveness of off-site marketing tactics to drive traffic and conversion to partner site product detail pages and brand stores.
  • Work with eCommerce marketing team, local market, and digital marketing COE to design execute data-driven reports and insights to accelerate efficiency effectiveness of performance marketing.
  • Develop key insights into customer behavior, using analytical frameworks and methods to identify opportunities for acquisition and LTV growth.
  • Build, onboard and utilize reporting from Amazon Marketing Cloud
  • Track and measure social and influencer marketing on ecommerce traffic and conversion in partnership with local marketing and digital marketing COE. Create standardized template for markets to share information.
  • Create and distribute standard ecommerce retail media performance and shopping behavior reports for all markets on a regular basis with an emphasis on key actionable insights for commercial and marketing teams to deploy.
  • Ability to think critically and understand relationships from different data sources and timelines.
  • Be a tech stack super user with key programs such as Stackline, CIQ, Pacvue,Analytics Index and Keepa Proactively collaborate with key tech partners to deliver reporting and insight capabilities.
  • Work with an entrepreneurial mindset to uncover opportunities and identify risks by diving into ad hoc analytics in all facets of the eCommerce flywheel, where required, including digital shelf components (ratings/reviews, content), selection strategy and inventory factors.
  • Inform and assist our eCommerce Marketing and retail media performance and strategy to drive efficiency and efficacy with timely advertising analytics and insights related to ad-attributed sales, ROAS/iROAS, Share of Voice, Impressions, and CTR for all ad types while connecting to our commercial objectives and an understanding of consumer shopping behavior trends. A key objective of the analytics will be to hold our eCommerce Retail media partners accountable to trends and commercial objectives in execution.
  • Become a leader and subject matter expert on future capabilities including developing Amazon marketing reporting/insight capabilities.
  • Assist with predictive modelling around traffic and building long-term eCommerce commercial and retail/performance marketing media plans in collaboration with eCommerce team members.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on key competitive organic and paid visibility tactics and effect on Spin Masters share of voice and performance marketing effectiveness.
  • Deliver analytics and insights into eCommerce Shopper Journey and Behavior Analytics by utilizing various data sources to connect the dots:


What are your skills and experience?


  • Highly proficient technical skills in Excel, other Microsoft Office programs, and preferably SQL, Python programming skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills with an ability to formulate actionable insights
  • Proven history of data-driven major eCommerce Analytic experience, preferably with key ecommerce retailer partners, Amazon US/CA/EU, Walmart, and Target.
  • Ability to tell stories with data and find new opportunities to use data to drive results.
  • Experience using eCommerce SaaS products such as CommerceIQ, Stackline, Pacvue, Analytics Index, Helium10 and Keepa.
  • 4-6 years of related sales/eCommerce analyst experience; with a minimum of 2 years in eCommerce


The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York City is $80 000 to $105 000 Per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states
