Operations Transformation is a fast-paced, strategic, and customer-first team responsible for delivering transformational business outcomes across TELUS and our customers. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and action-oriented Strategy Manager to join our team who can leverage their experience in operations strategy development, cross-functional stakeholder and change management skills, as well as program leadership experience to lead and execute on key long-term strategic programs at TELUS. What you will do:
Reporting to the Manager, Operations Transformation, you will lead and drive strategic programs focused on cost reductions, process efficiencies, research on automation/technology opportunities for future focus. A structured approach to defining, assessing and executing will be critical to the success of this role.
Your main focus are:

• Manage logistics budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Manage logistics projects, including developing project plans, managing timelines and budgets, and coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure that the company's logistics strategy remains competitive
• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for optimizing logistics operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
• Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain management
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics service providers

Change Management and Reporting

• Partner closely with key stakeholders to develop robust communication plans as part of the broader change management efforts
• Lead and facilitate focus groups or workshops to gather input from team members contributing to the strategic initiatives
• Develop and prepare presentations to share program details effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders

Qualifications
What you bring:

• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite – PowerPoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, Project
• Several years of experience in logistics management or supply chain management
• 5 or more years of related experience leading large scale programs with multiple concurrent projects and process improvement initiatives
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Business and financial acumen combined with an innovative and process improvement mindset
• Project Management (PMP)
• MBA or certification in any of the following would be an asset
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends and insights
• Substantive experience in strategy management, performance analysis, performance coaching, transformation, consulting or PMO
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful logistics strategies
• Bachelor's or master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management software, including transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
