Our well-established client in Woodbridge has partnered with Kelly Services to recruit for a Sales Operations Manager to join as a fulltime member of their team. The incumbent should be prepared to develop and grow sales for the Company products throughout Ontario, in Industrial and food service class of trade. The Sales Operations Manager is considered to be the point of contact between customers and the Company for all the sales activities in his or her region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor progress and provide guidance to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.
- Monthly update on market intelligence information and competitor analysis report
- Align sales activities with overall business objectives and facilitate cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Ensure the team is providing exceptional customer service and address customer concerns or escalations promptly (understand the issue, contain it and solve it).
- Stay updated with industry trends and provide sales team with relevant knowledge and resources.
- Foster collaboration and communication between the sales department and other departments such as marketing, finance, QA, and supply chain.
- Provide sales and competitor analysis and refine sales metrics and tracking accordingly, prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans, target clients reports, carry out monthly sales performance review with supervisor to identity strength and gaps.
- Ensure that sales coordinators complete sales-related administrative tasks in
- Provide leadership to the sales team, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, order processing, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and prepare guidelines, policies, and procedures for sales process
- Collaborate with Director of Sales to define sales objectives, strategies, and targets
- Maintain tracking tools (e.g., Forecasting, spending, promo participation form, etc.)
- Build a sustainable sales plan by region, based on category reviews, and current customers.
- Set individual and team targets, monitor performance, and provide feedback and coaching for improvement to the sales representatives.
- Interpret and disseminate sales information to work with sales representatives
Qualification Requirements:
- Effective communication
- Industrial and Food service experience
- Priority and time management
- Experience: Sales management, People management, negotiation skills, understanding of distributor mechanics, good knowledge of national business and geography
- University degree required from recognized institution major in Sales and Marketing
- Effective customer relationship (internal & external)
- 10 years Sales Manager experience required
