  • Sourcing and Procurement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish sourcing strategies for critical materials, equipment, and services. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure consistent and timely procurement while adhering to quality standards.
  • Demand Forecasting: Utilize market trends, historical data, and industry insights to develop accurate demand forecasts. Work closely with operational teams to align production schedules and procurement plans accordingly.
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with the company's goals and growth aspirations. Lead efforts to identify and capitalize on opportunities for supply chain optimization, risk mitigation, and cost reduction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in global supply chain management within the mining, minerals, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement, logistics, demand forecasting, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software, data analysis tools, and ERP systems.
