The Senior Manager Supply Chain Operations (E2E) is responsible for managing the Demand Planning process and ensuring efficient order fulfillment to meet customer requirements. They collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Production, Global Logistics, Third Party Logistics providers and Customer Service, to optimize the supply chain and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Demand Planning:
- Utilize SAP demand planning software/tools to generate forecasts and monitor accuracy.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts to develop accurate demand plans.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather inputs and insights for demand forecasting.
- Facilitating monthly S&OP Demand Review Consensus meeting
- Provide input for production and procurement plans based on demand forecasts.
- Identify and analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and other factors impacting demand variability.
Order Management and Fulfillment:
- Coordinate with Production, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with the Global Logistics team to optimize transportation and delivery processes.
- Communicate order updates, delays, or changes to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Track order fulfillment metrics, such as order cycle time and on-time delivery and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
- Receive and review customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and feasibility.
Inventory Management/Finished Goods Planning:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability at 3PLs while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate with Warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory counts and timely replenishment.
- Facilitating weekly S&OE meetings
- Analyze demand patterns and collaborate with the Global Planning team to determine Inventory replenishment requirements.
- Utilization of SAP-IBP to manage Weeks of Supply reporting and manage aging inventory
3PL Management:
- Ensure Trade compliance in the region
- Track, review and manage key metrics for 3PL Logistics & Distribution
- Track Vendor payments and escalate in case of issues
- Manage escalations from 3PLs, related to Supply Chain elements
- Manage 3PL relationships within the respective cluster plus support performance management reporting
- Manage Logistics arrangements to and from CMOs within the regions
- Drive new Contract sign-offs and renewals with 3PL and other service providers
Continuous Improvement:
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to streamline processes and resolve any bottlenecks.
- Implement best practices and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Identify S&OP improvement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the demand planning and order fulfillment functions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in Demand Planning, Order Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using demand planning software/tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
